About the project

A partner agency approached FLUC to help them pitch a new all-in-one airport app concept to the New York airport system. The goal was to clearly demonstrate how the proposed app could enhance the traveler experience, from navigation to services to real-time assistance.

To communicate these scenarios effectively, FLUC created a series of explainer videos combining UI animation with collage-style motion. This hybrid visual approach helped simplify multiple user journeys, making the pitch more engaging, memorable, and easy to understand for stakeholders.

Our process

The challenge was to visualize multiple user scenarios for a product that didn’t yet exist, while making them intuitive, engaging, and easy for decision-makers to understand. FLUC combined clean UI animations to explain app functionality with expressive collage elements that added personality and real-world context, allowing complex interactions to be communicated in an approachable way.

The project started by working closely with the agency to define key app features and user benefits to highlight. Simplified UI screens were then designed and animated to demonstrate navigation, real-time information, and core user flows.

Expressive collage elements and textures were added to humanize the experience and support each scenario. UI and collage assets were animated together to clearly show how the app would function in real travel situations. The final delivery consisted of multiple short explainers, each focused on a specific user benefit for the pitch presentation.
